HOW TO MAKE PLAYDOUGH

A saucepan, a pastry board, a wooden spoon and some cling wrap

Ingredients:

100 g Plain Flour

50 g Salt

150 ml Water

1 teaspoon Cooking Oil

1 teaspoon Cream of Tartar

Few drops of Food Coloring

Method:

Add 1 - 2 teaspoons of Food Colour to the water and stir well

Mix Flour, Salt, Cream of Tartar and Cooking Oil in a saucepan

Slowly add the Coloured Water to the other ingredients in the saucepan mixing well as you add

Cook on low to medium heat, stirring until the dough becomes thick and comes away from the side of the saucepan Scrape the mixture onto a cutting board or other smooth, flat surface

Soak the saucepan immediately

Leave the Play Dough to cool for at least 15 minutes to be sure that it is cool inside. You can make some other colours as you wait.

Knead the Play Dough until it becomes smooth and workable.
